Foreword

VRML is the leading way of displaying 3D interactive scenes and worlds on standalone computers and websites without the usual high end system requirents of 3D software.

It is easily the most common used format of its type and requires a small plugin for the web browser. File sizes are often smaller than video or flash and of better quality. In some cases the files are smaller than static graphics.
